The love triangle encompasses not only the relationship between main characters Bella, Edward, and Jacob but expands to include the entire movie because it brings in the world of the vampire the world of the werewolf and even the world of the humans. 

I am a fan of the story and a fan of the movies. This third movie in the series is very well done. The adding of a different director has given the movie a different flavor from the first and the second movies. it seems this director is able to step just a little way away from the book to add a line or a scene that helps him tell the story not just film the book.

I believe the acting is getting a little more mature and the actors are taking themselves less seriously than in the first two movies. That is a good thing and adds to their credibility as actors in the face of a story line that emphasizes mushy romance along with incredible stories of loving vampires and caring werewolves.

The action in the movie heats up as the Cullen clan of vampires and the local werewolves are forced to join together to defend Bella against an invading army of new made vampires from Seattle that have been created solely for the purpose of destroying the Cullens and killing Bella.

That action scenes were very well done and the CGI wolves look a little better than in the previous movie. Maybe everything is maturing. The story. The actors. The technology.

If you are a Twilight fan, you will love it. If not, it is still a good story if you skip some of the romance parts which are really for the teenagers among us.
