Mattie Walker (Kathleen Turner) wants to trade it all for a little more.  Sure, she drives an expensive car and lives in a Florida mansion, but those luxuries come at a price in the form of her husband, Edmund Walker (Richard Crenna).  Even if Edmund died, half of his estate would go to his niece.  Fortunately for Mattie, Edmund is always away on business during the week, which allows Mattie to pursue a passionate affair with attorney Ned Racine (William Hurt).  Mattie convinces Ned to kill her husband and promises him a life of love and luxury.  However, Mattie has plans of her own, and her plans don't include Ned.

Body Heat is full of passion and mystery.  It's a 1940's style noir set in the 1980s.  The acting is wonderful and the story is top notch.  I recommend Body Heat to anyone looking for a steamy mystery.
