Did You Hear About the Morgans? Movie Review

It is Just as Well If you did not.

Not very funny and not very good but at least it is predictable.

Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker turn in lackluster performances as Paul Morgan and Meryl Morgan two very busy professional New Yorkers who witness a murder while returning from an evening spent discussing whether to make an effort to avoid their upcoming divorce. Reluctantly they agree to go into a witness protection program and, of course, are sent to the care of a western sheriff in a small Wyoming town. That leads to all sorts of slap stick type comedy making fun of either New Yorkers(city people) or Wyoming natives(country people)

Admittedly, there is not much to work with here but a little more effort and a little better acting on the part of our two stars might have helped out.

Sam Elliottt and Mary Steenburgen add some credibility as the Westerners but even their efforts were not enough.
