I just saw the ten nominations for Picture of the Year and I'm extremely disappointed that Invictus was not on the list.  What are they thinking???

Invictus, tells the story of Nelson Mandela of South Africa and is superbly portrayed by Morgan Mandela.  The story starts with Mandela's release from prison and his attempt to unify the country and overcome the racial prejudices.  Because the country is racially divided, he gets Matt Damon, captain of the rugby team to encourage his team to win the championship in order to bring the country together.

Morgan's portrayal of Mandela is nothing less than superb- his actions, body language and accent.  Matt Damon does a very good job too.

The story is a lesson in unity, friendship and trust and I learned a lot about the country's problems and the hard work Mandela did

If the picture can't win, I hope Morgan gets Best Actor- he deserves it!
