I didn't know if I'd like the movie Blind Side or not- I'm not really a football fan so the topic didn't appeal to me- however, this is a wonderful movie-it's not really about sports but about reaching out to those in need- taking chance to make a difference in someone's life.

Based on a true story and set in Memphis, the story is about a wealthy woman, Sandra Bullock, and her family who take in a black boy ,Michael, and raise him as their own,  By giving not only material needs but their time and concern, they change his life forever.  He learns to have confidence and trust in himself and succeeds in not only going to college but becomes a professional football player

Sandra Bullock is OUTSTANDING- the best role she's had -as Michael's new mother and the acting by all is very good.  The story gives one a better understanding of how some people have to live and how lives can be changed by caring and giving of your time.

I highly recommend this- an award winner
