This is an excellent movie for the mystery /thriller fan. As always, in a good mystery movie, the story is the star.

Jesse Metcalft plays C J Nicholas, the crusading investigative reporter who is out to prove that the high flying District Attorney, Mark Hunter, played by Michael Douglas is faking DNA evidence to get high profile murder case convictions and further his political career.

Amber Tamlyn does a credible job as female lead Ella Crystl who is both Assistant Prosecuting attorney for Mark Hunter and girl friend to C J Nicholas. Nicholas gets himself arrested and apparently framed for murder in order to prove Hunter guilty. When the one person who is in on the plan with Nicholas is killed in an accident, Nicholas ends up on death row with only Ella as his life line.

The plot twists continue to the very end of the movie proving one more that the interesting story will make an interesting movie.
