The Big Lebowski is my favorite Coen Bros. comedy. It's set in L.A. in the early '90s and is centered around ex-hippie Jeff Lebowski AKA "The Dude" (Jeff Bridges) and his bowling buddies, Vietnam vet Walter (John Goodman) and charmingly slow Donny (Steve Buschemi).

The Dude's life is turned upside-down when some thugs, looking for money, confuse him with the millionaire, also named Jeff Lebowski, and that's when all hell breaks loose.

If you're looking for a unique comedy with hilarious dialogue then pour yourself a white russian, sprawl out on your rug, and give The Big Lebowski a roll.
