I have almost no true criticism for this film that extends beyond my utter contempt for the swill that Michael Bay has tried to pass off as a functional motion picture.  Noteable feelings that I had after I left the theater include: "Wow, I actually feel dumber for having watched this movie." "I don't feel that I could accurately describe the 'plot' of the movie to another person." "It feels like I just watch stock footage of special effects explosions for two hours." "I'm not 100% certain that paying $8.00 for the privilege of seeing a bunch of random CGI and Megan Fox running around is a fair deal."  Admittedly, I went into the movie with expectations that were fairly low, because the first movie in the series wasn't all that great and I have little to no faith in Bay's ability to direct a coherent picture.  However, I didn't expect the utter cataclysm that I watched.  The best way I can describe my experience is that all the functional components required to make a movie were in place, they were just put together in the most idiotic way possible.  At least the first Transformers film was entertaining, I don't think I could even give this movie that weak endorsement.

Also, on an unfortunate side note, the two Autobots in the flim known as "the Twins" are quite possibly the two most offensive racial stereotypes in recent memory.  I don't think such an annoying ghetto pastiche was ever really amusing, even when it was done in an intentionally funny way.  I don't even have a clue as to why the characters were in the flim, as they barely participated in the action scenes and were thrown in largely to act as comic relief when either Sam or Bumblebee could have picked up some of the slack there. The bottom line is that they were offensive in nearly every aspect of their character from their dialogue to their CGI design and it was almost distracting.
