This film had a lot of twists for such a simple film. There weren't a lot of cast members, but what there were really showed their mettle. Also not a lot of special effects, or set pieces. Basically you had Billy Bob Thornton, Bill Paxton, some money, and a lot of snow.

This may not seem like a lot, but for this movie, it was enough. Billy Bob's performance was stellar, and the twists the plot took were superb. It wasn't a fast-moving script, but you are constantly held in suspense by the next twist and the underlying tension of what was going to happen to these two and their loot.

If you aren't an 'actor's movie' kind of person, feel free to give this one a pass, but if you like well structured writing and good acting, this movie's for you.
