Quite possibly one of the best movies to ever come across in the middle of the day on TV. Everyone's performance is great, the Delorean is extra-shiny, and none of the science makes a lick of sense. Perfect minimal thinking required sci-fi. Michael J. Fox turns an excellent comedic performance, Christopher Lloyd is an excellent mad scientist, and this movie has created a wealth of cultural conventions and injokes that can't be topped.  Even better, this film has a really high replay value, as I am able to (and have) watched the movie dozens of times without feeling a significant loss of enjoyment.  There isn't a tremendous amount of depth to the film, but I definitely give the director and writers credit for putting forward a plot with time travel being a central point, even though it was certainly complicated for a family-friendly adventure film.  Overall, this is one of the best "fun" films I know of, that's highly enjoyable from start to finish with something for everyone.
