Uncle Buck was the role that the late John Candy was born to play. Uncle Buck is a light-hearted family comedy that is full of laughs. Buck Russell was called as a last resort baby-sitter due to a family emergency. Out of work and not used to life in the 'Burbs, he has his own unique way of caring for his two nieces and his nephew, as well as, doing household chores, like the laundry. But in the end the audience realizes that Uncle Buck was just what the family needed.
