Mystic River (Clint Eastwood, director) is a wonderful movie with a tremendous plot and brilliant acting. Sean Penn won a well deserved Oscar for his heart-wrenching performance as a father stricken with grief over his oldest daughter's gruesome murder.

Everyone, including co-stars Tim Robbins and Kevin Bacon, does an excellent job. If you're looking for a movie that is both powerful and rich then Mystic River is the movie for you. Five stars all the way!!!!
