AFRICAN QUEEN is not my favorite Bogart movie.  However, this marvelous film it is one of my all time favorite classic movies.  It offers a story of adventure, action, love, and comedy.  Bogart is great and so is Kathryn Hepburn as the 'prime' young missionary matron who discovers friendship and comfort in the rugged personality of a complacent seaman.  And, he ultimately captures her heart through his ingenuity, courage, and determination.

Movies are not made like this anymore.

AFRICAN QUEEN is a 'must' for those of you who collect the classics.
