Marley is the star of this movie. It chronicles his life from a discount priced puppy to old age with a family who comes to love and appreciate him despite truly amazing feats of chewing, running, and outright destruction. If you love dogs you will love this movie. If you are not moved at the ending of the movie, you do not love dogs. Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston both do an excellent job in supporting roles as Marleys owners. I use the term owner because to use the term Master would be too misleading. 

The movie is absolutely hilarious in parts as we watch with shock and fascination at the things Marley is able to do and the trouble he is able to cause. It is sad at the end because it is a true story. 

I recommend the movie to all dog lovers and for the rest of you out there, Marley grows on you so give him some time.
